Itaf is the Jordan Valley Solidarity co-ordinator for Al Auja, a Palestinian village just north of Jericho.
Her work over recent years has primarily been with the bedioun community of over 100 families living in Ras al Auja.
She has been involved in the building of the community school, working with local women and teaching in the school.

She is also the main link between the village and Jordan Valley Solidarity when they are subjected to the destruction of property, denied the right to use local water resources, or attacked by Israeli settlers.
